Walk Audit - North Kansas City Ward 4

The North Kansas City Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (NKC BPAC) is hosting it's first event - a community walk audit! Walk audits are community-led assessments of the pedestrian environment. This can include:

• The condition and connectivity of sidewalks;
• Street crossings and intersections;
• Pedestrian assets like benches and lighting;
• Accessibility for persons with disabilities; and
• Speeding/unsafe driving behaviors.

Walk audits are a great opportunity to learn about community infrastructural needs while also getting to know and work with your neighbors!
