Let's all get away from our desks and in to the fresh Tees Valley air - TOGETHER.
We are starting 2025 in Hartlepool at the historic Hartlepool Headland.
Assist and The Girls' Network are collaborating to bring all our business and professional women together to see familiar faces and meet new.
We have another year planned as we tour some great Tees Valley spots in 2025. What's not to like... we are going to visit some of our perfect parts of our corner of the globe, a woodland, river, park and the coast.
We are hitting each of the 5 boroughs in our region - Let's get NETWALKING.
We, Jan and Lauren (TGN) and Julie and Ann (AWN) will be waiting for you at the Headland Car Park, next to the Borough Hall, where there are plenty of spaces waiting for you.
We like to leave prompt as we only have an hour to Walk and Talk, we do use time after to hang around for a coffee or a refreshing drink after our walk, if this is for you, you can continue your conversation and exchange contacts, and then it's time for the rest of the weekend to enjoy with your family and friends.
The historic Hartlepool Headland is at the northern end of the town and is home to several historic sites pertaining to Hartlepool’s rich history. The beautiful 12th century St Hilda’s church can be found on the Hartlepool Headland.
This fascinating stretch of the coast shares a little of Hartlepool’s military defences, along with some more modern areas, and arty corners we will seek out.
After our walk, for those who have time, we can pop to Mary Rowntree's for a coffee taking the chance to get to know others you may have not had chance to speak to on the walk. Dogs are welcome.
However no pressure, we are all busy and have much to be getting on with, the stay back is entirely optional.
Get your boots and walking attire on! Do get wrapped up the January winds are a little chilly coming of them NE waters!
Let’s enjoy the coastline and the history as we take a wander and most importantly share it with some great Assist and The Girls' Network company, Ann, Julie, Jan, Lauren and many of the Assist Team will be with you.
