Join us for a refreshing morning walk in Hartlepool with Assist and The Girls' Network! This event is all about connecting, chatting, and enjoying the great outdoors. Whether you're looking to network, make new friends, or just get some exercise, this walk is perfect for you.

We are meeting at High Throston Golf Club (TS26 0UG). We will leave prompt as we only have an hour and then the rest of the weekend to enjoy.

Nestled away from the town, this serene and refreshing walk leads to Hartlepool's newest addition; a community bookshelf. This book exchange spot is carefully maintained by a dedicated volunteer steward, ensuring it's always tidy and stocked with engaging books for readers of all ages.

In celebration of 90 years of Penguin, 90 Little Book Shops have been installed across the UK. Out of more than 2,000 applicants, Hartlepool was honoured as one of the selected 90 communities. For more details on Hartlepool's selection, visit The Book Hogg on Facebook.

Please bring a book you've read to the walk, so you can swap it for another one to take home and enjoy.

After our walk, for those who have time, we can return to the Golf Club for a warming drink to continue our conversations. However no pressure, we are all busy and have much to be getting on with.

To encourage well attended sessions we are implementing a £5.00 booking fee. This fee will be credited back to you on the day and used towards refreshments after our walk. However, please note that if you are unable to attend, the £5.00 booking fee will be non-refundable.
