Walk and Talk - in partnership with Marie Curie Hospice

A gentle and accessible walk in Bradford's Lister Park for those interested in meeting others who have been affected by death & dying
About this Event

We recognise the value of spending time with others and how gentle exercise and being out and about can have a positive impact on wellbeing. As such we have developed a “Walk and Talk Group”. This bereavement support group has been developed in partnership between Full Circle Funerals and Marie Curie. This will be a chance for you to meet up with other bereaved people is a safe and supportive space. Staff and volunteers from Full Circle Funerals and Marie Curie Hospice will be on hand to provide support.

This will take place in Lister Park in Bradford. The meeting place will be at the stag statue located outside Cartwright Hall Art Gallery located in the centre of the park. Please see the attached map and flyer for full details.

The walk has been planned with accessibility in mind. The walk will be on the flat but will include some gentle inclines. Please get in touch if you would like further information on the route of the walk. The walk will take about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. We will then convene in the Refreshment Room Café at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. The café has a selection of refreshments, teas, coffees and cakes which you can purchase. The café is level access and has an accessible toilet.
