About this Event

// A portion of ticket sales will be donated back to Congressional Cemetery.

It's the perfect season for a leisurely and maybe even spooky stroll through historic Congressional Cemetery. Join A Tour Of Her Own in partnership with Philly's Beyond The Bell Tours for a casual afternoon walk.

Known for it's historic "gay corner," explore the headstones of America's beloved LGBTQ community including Frank Kameny and Barbara Gittings. "Dig a little deeper" and explore the corners of the cemetery that celebrate iconic women like Belva Lockwood, Cokie Roberts, and Madam Mary Ann Hall. Together, we’ll trek across one of DC's oldest landscapes to explore the lives and legacies of trailblazers—some famous, some forgotten—who helped shape the nation’s capital and the movements that continue to inspire us today.

For a more formalized tour, check out our walking tour series throughout the weekend.
