About this Event
This year, the Brotherhood Synagogue 7th Graders are dedicating their Mitzvah Project to the hostages and Israeli victims of terrorism. The money raised will go to supporting the hostages, Israeli victims of terrorism, and their families.
On Sunday, May 19th, at 12:00PM we will meet at Brotherhood Synagogue (28 Gramercy Park South, NYC) and walk a one-mile loop through the streets of Manhattan. We will end the walk at the synagogue, where we will partake in family-friendly activities, enjoy light refreshments, and be joined by special guest speakers.
Please join us for this one-mile community walk, wheel, or stroll, to honor the hostages and Israeli victims of terrorism and combat antisemitism. If you cannot be with us in person, you can still register to donate and/or walk on your own. Everyone who registers will receive a special kippah, so you can walk a mile in your kippah at any time.
Together we will foster Jewish pride and allyship to combat antisemitism!
Donations go toward the advancement of the necessary efforts to raise awareness for the hostages, advocacy in Israel and around the world for their release, and for financial, medical, and emotional support for the families.
