Welcome to Call of the Woods! We organise weekly walks for exchange students, foreign students and expats.
Let's complete the biggest challenge in Brno and walk 100 km in 24 hours!
Event details will be provided later, but they are roughly as follows:
- We gather on Friday evening around 6 pm and take the train to Strelice (15 mins.).
- Bring a headlight and a reflective shirt or flash light to clip on your clothes or backpack.
- Bring enough food.
- Pay the registration fee (300 crowns cash) at the start.
- We start walking around 7 pm and walk in a big circle around Brno, through the forests and fields.
- Finish after 24 hours at the same point.
There will be several bus stops where you can stop, in case you won't make it to the finish.
To participate, it is not enough to signup for this facebook event, but it is necessary to register on the site of BVVS (http://bvvs.vyskovnice.cz/subdom/bvvs/kostra.php?obsah=prihlaska). For the team name, select Call of the Woods from the list. For the question about the 50 km time, you should write 10 hours. For the question about the northern-most village, you should write Vranov.
