The theme of waiting is one we most often associate with Advent but it is in fact a central biblical theme which we will explore in this retreat.Few of us enjoy waiting and patience is not a virtue many of us have, so this may be a good time to reflect on this theme as we enter more deeply into the autumn season, with its long evenings and shorter days.
As we are reminded at Mass, we are waiting in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
This retreat will give us space and time to reflect on this aspect of the Christian faith.
