“This is our revolution of the body, this is the revelation of our hidden nature, this is Apocalisse Nova!”
Since 2017, NON Company (Italy) and asperformance (Germany), have been working on the choreographic project Apocalisse Nova, inspired by the frescoes of the Renaissance painter Luca Signorelli (placed in the Orvieto Cathedral in Italy) and by Dante’s journey through the other world in his Divine Comedy.

The project had the premiere in October 2020 in Munich. Now we are looking forward to bring the performance in November 2021 in Italy. Waiting for Apocalisse Nova is a one-day Butoh dance workshop, open to all, which aims to offer an inside view into our dance work. We will share with you the themes and the elements we have been researching since 4 years. Are you curious to know our project and the working method we have developed? WHEN: Sunday 18 July 2021
TIME: From 10am to 17 pm (including 1 hour lunch break - in total 6h work)
WHERE: Olympiapark - Spiridon-Louis-Ring 21, Munich (more info about the meeting place after subscription)
COST: 60€. Maximum 15 students accepted. People with no dance experience are welcomed.
