This Waitangi Day, we invite you to join us in a show of unity and solidarity as we hīkoi from Pukeahu to Waitangi Park starting at 10am. The Hīkoi mō te Tiriti o Waitangi made history – now it’s time to grasp that energy and carry it forward. This event is an expression of Kotahitanga and an opportunity to uphold the tikanga of Te Kahu o Te Raukura and support mana whenua. This movement for change is about more than opposition to the Treaty Principles Bill, it is about a more peaceful, fair and just way for Aotearoa to exist. Te Tiriti o Waitangi took root 180 years ago and it is now time for it to flourish into a healthy future for us all on this whenua.(Poster artwork by Erina)
