Taught by Gillian McDonnellA small introduction into the art of Corsetry, this workshop will allow you to learn the basics of constructing a waist corset with boning from a provided pattern. Through this workshop we will make a corset base that will allow you to learn altering a basic pattern to fit you perfectly. All supplies and materials will be provided.
Sewing level: Above a beginner. Necessary sewing skills: precision sewing, consistent seam allowance, stitching curves, and basic ironing skill.
Please Include Natural Waist Measurements before the class date.

Fabrics and notions are included in the cost of the workshop.
Class Length: 6 hours
Class size: LIMITED TO SIX STUDENTS. Learn in a cozy environment with plenty of time with your teacher!
Date: Saturday October 18
Times: 12 PM to 7 PM (Central Time) with one hour lunch break
Cost: $175 CAD (Use of sewing machines and all materials included in the cost)
