Waiora scout camp - McKerrows fieldA great day to explore and have and outdoors day. With the weather warming up please make sure a change of clothes and towels are brought for your kids. More of them are starting to swim and get wet.
Fire cooking most weeks. Please keep an eye on event post over weekend before to find out what we are cooking.
I will also be putting up post about if there is an activity being run that day. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
If you are new to coming to waiora please see directions below.
Driving towards the main camp entrance you will come to a sweeping left bend corner. On your right is a parking area and a gate. Pull off and drive through that gate and left over the bridge and down to end of field. Just after the sweeping left bend road will change from seal to gravel so good way to know if gone past turn off. If you get to the main camp entrance you have definitely gone too far.
