The Waihi Scout Group is hosting this great annual event and scouts and public are all welcome. The cost is $5 per person and there will be plenty of free off road parking. There will be 3 slides, a mud obstacle course, rope bridge and water hole. A great day out for all the family.
We recommend bringing sunblock, warm jacket, old shoes (very important on site and also on the slides) towel, and a change of clothes.
Either bring a picnic lunch or there will be food and drinks for sale. You can even buy a sausage, and cook it yourself.
The slides will be situated behind the Gun Club on State Highway 2 - South of Waihi. It's 1 km past the Waihi Beach turnoff on the RHS and there will be plenty of signs to follow.
