About this Event

Award-winning author Michael J. Cooper (michaeljcooper.net) has written three award-winning books set in Israel at different critical times in history. Through his gripping historical novels, Dr. Cooper explores the crucial need to learn from history and avoid its repetition.

At this event, Dr. Cooper will speak about Wages of Empire and Crossroads of Empire. Wages of Empire begins in the summer of 1914; 16-year-old Evan Sinclair leaves home to join the Great War. Little does he know that a critical source of conflict will emerge in Ottoman Palestine, since it's from Jerusalem where Kaiser Wilhelm II dreams to rule as Holy Roman Emperor. In a tale filled with historical figures, Evan will help turn the tide of a war just beginning. In Crossroads of Empire, Evan’s story continues.

Refreshments will be served, and books will be available for sale and signing.

Doors open at 3:45 p.m.
