Wacky Wednesday is a shared experience perfect for pre-school children and their carers and includes opportunities to take a close look at different themes from the museum which they can relate to their own lives.

Wacky Wednesday is exclusively for children under 5 years only. Booking is essential to guarantee your child’s place. Adults do not need to pre-book their place. Please note all children must be accompanied by a maximum of two adults.
After Wacky Wednesday you can find the rabbit in Parkinson’s Yard, tunnel in the Technology Gallery or visit our Victorian Gallery. Watch out for the cute canaries, the ponies in our Pony Discovery Centre and if you’re ready for a ‘pitstop’ there’s Caphouse Café or visit the Adventure Playground and bring a picnic.
