Hosted by Cherries Nature Aquarium and Sponsored by Milwaukee Aquarium Society - Create your very own wabi kusa! Includes ALL materials (bowl, light, plants, etc). According to Aquasabi.com, "A wabi kusa is basically a small, coherent portion of plant substrate (usually soil), often formed into balls, with different aquatic plants growing on and from it." Participants had a great time at the last wabi kusa workshop, so it's back by demand, with Milwaukee Aquarium Society member and Marquette University student Allen Ortega of Cherries Nature Aquarium at the helm.
The cost for the workshop is $25 (half of the cost is being subsidized by MAS). Retail material and plant costs greatly exceed the cost of the workshop, so this is a great deal! RSVP and advance payment required.
