Join ISU BHA Collegiate Club as we partner with IN BHA Chapter and Indiana DNR staff at Wabashiki Fish & Wildlife Area to work on upland game habitat. This will be our fourth year to return to this great piece of public lands and we're excited to continue making an impact.Bring your gloves, work clothes, and eye protection to Wabashiki parking lot C-1 at 9:00 AM EST. We will carpool to the work site where small groups will plant native shrubs for improved wildlife cover. If there is extra time or personnel, we will pick up where we left off in 2023 taking down invasive shrubs and vines.
No prior experience is necessary! Hand-powered cutting tools are welcomed but not required. Wabashiki staff will supply shrub planting tools.
