In partnership with Tompkins Wake, Waahine Toa: INSPIRE aims to energise friends and members, stimulate connections, and galvanise support for the Waikato Women’s Fund.

Alongside invigorating conversations and canapes supplied by Mavis & Co, the afternoon will include live and silent auctions, with a collection of wonderful items and experiences donated by supportive businesses from across our mighty region.
All proceeds raised at Waahine Toa: INSPIRE will add to our endowment fund and help provide grants to organisations that support women and girls in the Waikato to achieve their aspirations.

The Waikato Women’s Fund is a giving circle operating under the umbrella of Momentum Waikato Community Foundation’s regional endowment, with the resulting investment income supplying funds to disburse through grants to worthy organisations. Our committee of volunteers work to achieve the Fund's goals by growing the fund, making grants, and celebrating women and girls across the Waikato region.
This 2024 event will be the fourth rendition of Waahine Toa. The fundraising series began in 2020 when we focused on sharing wisdom, then in 2021 on re-igniting enthusiasm, before encouraging members to rise by supporting women and girls in the Waikato in 2022.
