🪩 Waacking and House dance festival is coming to the beautiful city Kosice in Slovakia with international quests. Come and experience it with us! 🩵 WYH connects two dance cultures - Waacking and House dance. We celebrate both cultures whose common background is tied in their roots - both were created in black queer communities, celebrating the uniqueness of each person through music, feeling, attitude, and sharing.

✨What to expect?
BATTLES - PARTY - WORKSHOPS - DISCUSSION
👉 Battles in two categories (13:30-20:00)
1️⃣ Anything to House music 1vs1 - The judges will pick the top 16, and all dance styles are welcomed. The focus is not on the dance style but on the connection with the music, creativity, and authentic expression. Imagine walking to a club and feeling the music so much that you can’t help but express yourself on the dancefloor. No matter the style - Hip Hop, House, Popping, Waacking, Breaking, Contemporary, etc. - what matters most is how you connect to the music and how you choose to express your creativity.
2️⃣ Battle 2vs2 Waacking & House - For this category, you don’t need a partner. There will be a separate preselection for each style, and judges will pick the Top 8 from each style. Afterwards, dancers will be randomly paired into couples (1 House dancer & 1 Waacker). Imagine walking to a club and connecting randomly with a fellow clubhead - creating magic on the dancefloor. No rehearsals. No planning. Just raw connection and freestyle chemistry. Let’s create some club magic.
