The Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.) – Seattle and the Seattle Regional Chinese American World War II Veterans Congressional Gold Medal Committee invite Washington registered veterans who are on the recipients list at https://www.caww2.org/cgm-recipients and their families to the Seattle Regional Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony.

Event Details
The Seattle Regional Chinese American World War II Veterans Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony will be held on November 13, 2021, 1:00-4:00 pm at the Meydenbauer Center 4th floor, in Bellevue, Washington.
Event Online Registration
Due to social distancing requirements, seating is limited.
Online registration is open October 15-27, 2021 for registered veterans and their accompanying family members (veteran and up to two family members). A maximum of three tickets per veteran’s family. Include all names in your party. Please note any special requests on the registration form. Register by clicking on the Register button.
A separate email will be sent after October 27, 2021 if additional seats are available.
Event Day – Saturday, November 13, 2021
All attendees must preregister.
Masking is required while indoors but may be removed only when accepting the medal.
Parking
Paid parking is available in the Meydenbauer Center underground parking garage. The garage entrance is on NE 6th Street. Driving, parking fees, and directions here.
COVID protocol check-in desk – 12:00-1:00 pm
In compliance with current state and local public health guidelines, all attendees will be required to wear a mask and show proof of vaccination or a negative test taken within 72 hours of the event.
A COVID check-in confirmation is required to proceed to the event check-in desk.
Event check-in desk – 12:00-1:00 pm
All attendees must check-in at the event desk. One family member may check in for the family.
Each veteran or the family representative will receive additional instructions at the event.
Seating
There will be assigned seating for veterans and their family members, speakers and guests.
Refreshments
Each attendee will receive a small box of sweet and savory treats as a closing gift. Bottled water will be available during the event.
Note: There will be no food service during the event.
Attire
Business casual is suggested. Military personnel are encouraged to wear their uniforms.
Congressional Gold Medal Presentation Program 1:00-4:00 pm
Each veteran or family representative will be presented a bronze replica of the medal courtesy of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance and American Legion Cathay Post #186.
The program will be streamed on YouTube. If you wish to watch the event online, choose Virtual Attendance when registering to receive the link before the event.
Commemorative Book
Each veteran or veteran’s family will receive one copy of United States Congressional Gold Medal Recipients Chinese American World War II Veterans Washington State: The Legacy of Their World War II Service, courtesy of generous donors. Additional books will be available for a specified donation - pre-order additional books here. Books are limited.
