Hårdpumpende elektropop-pulsrytmer, eurodanset eufori & en lille strejf af sortlakeret melankoli, vækker dine sen-90'er/start-00'er minder til live igen, når VIP-gæsterne The Bird og Evil House Party indtager Voxhulen. Forvent glitch-æstetik, øje-provokerende pang-farvekoder og blinkende sneaks-niveauer af fart, der flettes i et sonisk tæppe af pixie-magi.. Hvad år siger mit Nokia-display? Det er helt glemt. The Birds lydunivers er en blanding af nostalgisk elektropop og skæve, syntetiske beats. Med inspiration fra popmusikkens storhedstid i starten af 10’erne trækker The Bird tråde til en æra, hvor alt var lidt mere glamourøst. The Birds musik er fuld af spænding mellem det triste og det ekstatiske. Hans produktioner emmer af intensitet og klubkultur, men har samtidig en emotionel kerne.

Evil House Party er en duo fra København, der er udklækket af undergrundens musikmiljø. Mareridts-duoen består af Jacob Formann (Mini Esco, Communions) og Emma Acs, der har skabt et lydunivers, der udfordrer den gængse genre-kategorisering. Evil House Party's univers er et indblik i duoens skæve, karikatur-lignende rædselsverden, der med deres sange konfronterer eksistentielle kriser, mentale lidelser, tomhed, depression og livets komplekse valg, på et bagtæppe af ukonventionelle lyde er som skabt til natkørsel. Sonisk bevæger musikken sig mellem pulserende rytmer af drum&bass, sad-boy inspireret trap og en anelses britpop-nostalgi. Alt sammen hjemsøgt af melankolske pop-melodier og inderlige ghostly hymner.

VÆXT has been knocking on one of the old Lenovo boxes in the people's computer room - out came a cloud of magic dust of nostalgic glitter = the tones, aesthetics and childish joy of pixilated internet and flashy slush ice identity magically return! Hard-pumping electropop pulse rhythms, euro-dance euphoria & a little touch of black-lacquered melancholy, bring your late-90s/early-00s memories back to life when VIP guests The Bird and Evil House Party take over the Vox cave. Expect glitch aesthetics, eye-provoking flashy color codes and flashing sneaks levels of speed, woven into a sonic blanket of pixie magic.. What year does my Nokia display say? The Bird's sonic universe is a mix of nostalgic electropop and quirky, synthetic beats. With inspiration from the heyday of pop music in the early 10s, The Bird draws threads to an era when everything was a little more glamorous. The Bird's music is full of tension between the sad and the ecstatic. His productions ooze intensity and club culture, but at the same time have an emotional core.

Evil House Party is a Copenhagen based band, hatched from the city’s underground music scene. Consisting of Jacob Formann (Mini Esco, Communions) and Emma Acs who have managed to create a playful sound that defies easy genre categorization. When invited into the universe of EHP, you get a glimpse into their twisted, caricature-like world of real life horror. Songs are confronting existential crises, mental disorders, numbness, depression and life’s complex choices. With a sound that spans between everything from haunting, melancholic pop melodies to pulsating rhythms of drum and bass and sad boy influenced trap with a hint of britpop nostalgia, like their music was designed for late night cruising.

VÆXT is a mixed bunch of volunteers from the VoxHall venue - a group united by two noble goals: To bring in budding emerging artists, to find them a place in Voxhall's nourishing soil, and to create a colorful environment for quirky and creative ideas that create atmosphere and noise!
