Join us for a special simulation that lets teens experience life in the real world. Plus, it's a free event with gift basket giveaways!About this Event
Workshop is intended for ages 13 - 18.
Parents/guardians are not required but are invited to attend.
What students will learn:
- The importance of having a money plan
- Budgeting basics
- Spending, saving and sharing wisely
- The cost / impact of credit
Here is how it works:
- Upon arrival students are given a new identity (occupation, income, etc.)
- Next students are provided clip boards with budgeting worksheets, pens and calculators
- Brief overview and instructions to students of the simulation
- Simulation starts and the students visit 11 stations (including car, home, grocery buying, etc.)
