Once considered, rare, it is very common to see turkey vultures flying with wings in a vee shape, teetering through the sky, flight appearing to be effortless. More recent, the black vulture is also a new nesting species to the state. Due to the warming climate, and perhaps plenty of roadkill along our highways, both species numbers are on the increase. We will learn about these two vultures , and take a short walk at the orchard looking for both black and turkey vultures .Cost:
Adult Members $15
