Vulpynes & The Lee Harvey's will perform a socially distant Button Factory show on Sunday, September 5th 2021!
Tickets cost €20.00 + booking fee available at Eventbrite.ie (Tickets limited to 85 and must be purchased online). This is a seated and socially distanced event.
In accordance with current theatre license guidelines, attendees for this show will NOT be required to show proof of vaccination.
July 25th serves as the belated release parties for both Vulpynes’ and The Lee Harveys’ respective releases on FOAD Musick. As with every other artist, 2020 was a write off for their shows, but neither band was prepared to delay their releases even if it made touring and promoting them impossible. The idea was always to come back to that when things returned to normal….
Don't let looks deceive you, for a 2 piece band Vulpynes make noise. Expect a fusion of heavy and melodic hooks, snarling vocals and a visceral rhythm section. Their unique chemistry and brazen wall of sound is a thrill to experience live, cited as 'One of the best and loudest live acts in the country' by Hot Press Magazine.
Over the past couple of years, Vulpynes have shared the stage with the likes of Deap Vally, Doyle (Misfits), Stiff Little Fingers, Sleaford Mods and the Interrupters to name a few.
With a consistently busy gigging schedule (which will resume when live music is back!), selling out hometown shows and blazing a trail across the Irish and UK festival circuit, Vulpynes are firmly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting Irish rock bands to emerge in recent years.

By contrast, The Lee Harveys are a 4 piece punk rock band with the feet firmly stuck in the spirit of 1977. 221 is the bands latest release, a 10” 6 track mini album, with a title culled from the combined ages of the band! The Lee Harveys’ patented brand of catchy hook-laden buzzsaw pop music has seen them play with the likes of SLF, Buzzcocks, Richie Ramone and the Members as well as performing at major punk festivals at home and abroad. In their 12th year of existence (but given that the band is made up of current and ex members of the Strougers, the Amazing Colossal Men, At Gunpoint and Paranoid Visions…theres no limit of experience), the band is actually speeding up rather than slowing down!
The Button Factory is dedicated to ensuring compliance of all government guidelines during COVID-19 and to ensure the health & safety of all guests, artists and staff.
A COVID compliance officer will be on site at all times. All staff will wear masks, as well as a one way system in place for guests entering the venue and for access to the bathrooms.
All tables and surfaces will be wiped down and sterilised before and after each show.
Contact details for each person/group will be taken at the door, for contact tracing purposes and temperature checks will be carried out with each customer upon arrival.
