The Science Commission was formally launched at the Lambeth Conference of Anglican bishops in 2022. Its purpose is to “celebrate science as a God-given resource and to support faith and science communities work together for the betterment of people and planet.” As a group, the commission meets to discuss various topics on faith and science in order to aid larger Anglican discussions and equip churches to collaborate with the scientific community.
