CAMPING RULES: Please Read!!!Quiet in the campground is required between 10:30pm and 7:00am.
This means if you’re playing music or being loud enough to bother other campers, quit it!! One RV/Trailer is permitted per site. You are expected to respect other campers, their sites, belongings, and their privacy. This includes, but is not limited to, walking through others sites, unwanted company, noise at any time that is considered too loud!. This means if your music is so loud that the people in the next camp can’t have a conversation you need to Turn it down or leave!!! If you have to be asked more than once you & your group will be asked to leave.
Shade covers and awnings are allowed in all sites as long as they are on the grass, dirt or pavement.
Fires are only allowed in fire rings or containers elevated at least 16" above the ground, NO FIRES ON THE GRASS!!
Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 10' at all times, per County Ordinance. Pets cannot be tethered to a concrete table, sewer vent pipe, to trees or staked to the grass. Pet owners must pick up after their pets. Campers may be asked to leave if their dog(s) disturb other campers after 10:00pm. All pets over the age of four (4) months must have current vaccination with a rabies vaccine approved by the CA State Dept. of Public Health and be officially tagged(licensed) per County Ord# 1764 Sec.32.027. Records must be shown upon request. If your dog isn’t other animal friendly or people friendly leave it at home.
Changing oil and working on vehicles is not allowed in the campsites, or any ware in the park.
Fireworks and firearms are prohibited on all Riverside County Parks.
Operating off-road vehicles in the park is prohibited. Stock unmodified golf carts-scooters and e-bikes are ok, and must be reregistered with license plate, that goes for all vehicles. Please keep the park clean for all to enjoy.
The campsite must be kept in a presentable manner free of litter and debris. Necessary camping items that are kept outside should be kept together in an orderly manner. You may be asked to leave if your site is not kept in an orderly manner.
Campers must obey all speed and traffic limits. Speed limit in park is 15mph. and 5mph in campground, as posted. No Cruising will be allowed! Remember children play here, bring a Bike. Please observe directional arrows! When entering park all guests must stop at gate and identify themselves and give the site number if applicable. All campers and guests must use proper procedures for entering park and exiting the park. Park Gates will be closed at 7pm and open at 700am, after hour arrivals can be made in advance with VTO.
Violation of any park rule, county ordinance, local, state or federal law can result in prosecution and/or eviction. These rules were made to benefit everyone. Thank you for reading and abiding by them. Park staff is available to serve you in any way we can. We hope you enjoy your stay and we thank you for your patronage. Failure to follow rules will result in you/your group being asked to leave the park
General camping will be restricted to VW’s only. This is due to the increasing size of the VW show and no other vehicles will be allowed in. Exceptions will be made on a need vs want basis, sorry for the inconvenience, but this is a VW event. All vehicles must be parked at least 2’ from any road. Also there will be no day use, be prepared to pay the full amount upon arrival. If you can’t follow any of these rules, please don’t come!!!! If you do not camp Saturday night at the park you will be charged additionally for reentry Sunday morning!!
Cottonwood Camp Area:
In this area you cannot park or set a tent up on the grass, EZ-UPs are ok, we ask that you have a VW on your site along with you RV, tow vehicles can park in the spectator area to allow more room for VW's.
Lakeview Camp Area:
Tent camping is permitted, as well as AIR COOLED ONLY VW's on the grass, again this is a VW event so we encourage all other vehicles to park in the spectator area.
Cabins:
Cabins sleep 4 people, and are allowed 2 parking spaces in front of cabin, ALL vehicles in front of cabin should be VW’s as this is a VW event. All other vehicles can park in the spectator parking area. no tents or vehicles are allowed in the grass in front of cabins.
