Tijdens de 𝗩𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 presenteren we 9 weken lang een programma rond één of meerdere kunstenaars, een collectief of organisatie.
MENTORMENTOR viert haar tienjarig bestaan met een pop-up bibliotheek in het Oud Huis. Daar staan alle publicaties tentoongesteld die tot stand kwamen binnen een traject of masterclass. Deze avond transformeert de bibliotheek tot een fotoboekenmarkt.
Je kunt er in gesprek gaan met de makers die het verhaal achter hun publicatie delen en doorlopend signeren. Stefan Vanthuyne nodigt voor de gelegenheid drie fotoboek fanaten uit. Hij gaat in dialoog met Tine Guns, Joselito Verschaeve en Boris Snauwaert over de plaats die het fotoboek inneemt binnen hun oeuvre.
Op deze sfeervolle avondmarkt kan je de maag spijzen aan de kunstzinnige food stall van Lore Snauwaert en is de bar de hele avond open.

MENTORMENTOR is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a pop-up library in the Oud Huis. All publications created during a project or masterclass are on display there. This evening, the library will be transformed into a photobook fair.
You can talk to the creators, who will share the story behind their publications and sign copies throughout the evening. Stefan Vanthuyne has invited three photo book enthusiasts to join him for the occasion. He will be talking to Tine Guns, Joselito Verschaeve and Boris Snauwaert about the place photo books occupy in their oeuvre.
At this atmospheric evening market, you can feed your stomach at Lore Snauwaert's artistic food stall, and the bar will be open all evening.

En we stellen kunstenaars centraal waar Kunsthal Gent momenteel mee samenwerkt. Iedere vrijdagavond is anders: van talks en filmvertoningen tot gesprekken, queer readings en manifesten.

During Friday Evenings, we present a 9-week programme around one or more artists, a collective or organisation. We offer local partners a platform. And we highlight artists with whom Kunsthal Gent is currently collaborating. Every Friday night is different: from talks and science fiction to lectures and book presentations.
