The next SEE VR Social Trail Meet Up will be hosted by Buckinghamshire 🤗. There are options to do less distance available (please shout if you would like a shorter gpx), but it would be very easy for you to do whatever distance you felt like! Meeting place is the front of Wendover Woods Cafe, Foresty Commission, Upper Icknield Way, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury HP22 5NF (parking is charged) / ///forehand.brochure.flaked. The run will start at 9am so, please aim to arrive just before. Toilets should be available from 08:30, and are situated next to the cafe.
These runs will be very informal, relaxed, trail (mostly) runs with all abilities more than welcome. They will not officially be led by anyone, though we may have guest run leaders from time to time; so, it is a good idea to save the route to your watch or phone.
The group will progress at a pace that accommodates everyone; no one will be left behind as we will aim to run together 🤝. Some meet ups may be longer and/or harder than others, but I for one fully intend to walk up most of the hills 😅.
Running on trails is a little different to running on roads and paths: As a rough guide; you should feel comfortable running about 20% further than these trail distances on road. Trail shoes are highly recommended, as is bringing hydration and fuel .. and fresh clothes and shoes to change into for afterwards 😉
