About this Event
Join us for the VPC 2025 Holiday Luncheon on Saturday, December 6, at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, where we will enjoy a lunchtime talk and tour of the “Give Me Liberty: Virginia & the Forging of a Nation” special exhibition commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The exhibition, presented by Virginia’s 250th Commission and produced in partnership by the Virginia Museum of History & Culture and the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, highlights Virginia’s leading role in the American Revolution. In addition to featuring an 1833 printing of the Declaration of Independence, the exhibition invites visitors to embark on a journey to uncover the civic stories and accomplishments of Virginia’s founders.
