About this Event
Interested in being one of our storytellers? .
Every month VOXRVA hosts a community meetup for creators and storytellers followed by a live-recorded storytelling night. Each month has a new theme. Everyone is welcome to submit their story for a chance to share it on stage!
February's Theme: BETRAYAL
Hosted by Michael Bickett with Reese Williams as the evening's MC.
Betrayal is a turning point that shatters trust. A lie that can poison love, friendship, work, and life. Most of us have experienced the pain of being betrayal's victim or it's perpetrator. What betrayal altered your life? What did you do about it? Did you fantasize about hiring a hit man, hatch a revenge scheme, or just weep into your pillow for days/weeks/months? How does healing happen? We hope you’ll be brave, step up to the plate, and share your story.
If you’re a fan of The Moth Radio Hour, TEDxRVA, or Secretly Y’all, then this live and in person event is for you! Free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so RSVP and share on your socials!
