"An Explosion of Being..." is a program of works that celebrate the limitless spirit of creation in our lives, and how each moment we experience grows and intertwines, forming the roots and foundation of who we are...past, present, and future. The program will feature four world premieres, and several regional premieres of extraordinary contemporary music! There might even be a guest composer or two at the performances!!! Stay tuned!
We hope to see you either at our Buffalo performance on the evening of May 11th at the St. Joseph University Parish at 7:30pm, or our Rochester performance on the afternoon of May 12th, at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford, at 3pm. Both performances are free, though free-will donations are graciously accepted.
Composers featured include: Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, Sarah Rimkus, Francesco Acquista, Dale Trumbore, Santiago Veros, Amy Gordon, Andrea Eklund, Glenn McClure, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Christian Bährens, Gerda Blok-Wilson, Iryna Aleksiychuk and Henrik Dahlgren.
