About this Event
Georgia voters have the chance to choose one of their next U.S. Senators in this election. By encouraging voters in Georgia to turn out, we can help ensure that all voters' voices are heard.
This is an open house-style event. Come anytime between 1 and 5pm - we'll be here, eating snacks, chit chatting and writing letters to voters! It takes about one hour to write and address 20 letters. All you need to bring is a book of 20 stamps.
Writing letters to voters is easy. We'll supply the printed letters and envelopes. The letters we write are nonpartisan and do not encourage voting for any particular candidate. Letters will be mailed to fellow citizens who have historically been underrepresented in the electorate.
Of course, what is on the line is more than just Warnock vs. Walker; it's the whole senate! We hope you'll join us for fun, fellowship and democratic action.
Vote Forward is a national organization that promotes democracy by helping volunteers write letters to voters. Learn more about them here: https://votefwd.org
This event takes place in George and Sara's home in Old Irving Park. Our family is all vaccinated; masks are optional.
