🌀💗 🌀 Hello Dance Family, Vortex dance has an opportunity to test drive a new venue: The Cambridge Masonic Hall . Come along with us for the ride! The theme of the night is ~RELEASE ~. We want to use the energy of the summer to shake it all up and let go of whatever needs to go, shedding stress, fear, or even just stiffness in the body. What do you want to release? A thought? A feeling? An old story? Let the dance floor take it from you. Our warm-up will be led by Su Bengisu - inspired by Contact Improv.DJ Luminus 🎧 will take us on another deep and high vibe ecstatic dance journey. Closing soundscape will be provided by Imaginary Expedition is a classically-informed contemporary folk duo (Victoria & Glyph) weaving intricate harmonies. Come and see if Vortex can find a new home.
Please note that Vortex Dance happens twice in August:
Fri August 15, 7 pm - Masonic Hall, Cambridge
Sat August 23, 2 pm,- Constitution Beach, DCR, Boston Harbor

🌿 Our Covid & health policy: if you have any flu like symptoms or test positive for Covid please stay home. Testing for Covid before the event is encouraged, but not required. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask during the dance or use our "dance alone" wristband available at the front desk. Thank you for your cooperation .
