ABOUT THE ARTIST:
VON MASH, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is an artist utilizing new media (mixed media) to express himself. His work is heavily influenced by African mysticism and his childhood experiences of lucid dreaming. He draws much inspiration from his personal view of life, African history & aesthetics, social and political issues, and the cosmic universe. The work blends collaged images, textures, and distorted colors and shapes; breathing life into a hyper-digital collaging style he coined as “AFRIDELIC” art.
