A tradition for more than four decades, our annual Von Franken Family Food Run is back for 2024! 🦃Everyone is invited to the 9 a.m. start Thanksgiving Day for the untimed 3-ish mile run/walk (or choose your own distance!) at River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave.
The event supports the Salvation Army by collecting donations of nonperishable food items and/or toys for the Angel Tree.
Oklahoma Alliance for Animals also will be there to collect supplies for our furry family members.
We will have coffee, cocoa and snacks on hand, along with a free raffle for participants. Raffle tickets will be handed out after finishing the run/walk.
There's no sign up; just show up, donate and have fun!
It's a great way to start the holiday and give to people who are less fortunate. #FillTheTruck
