About this Event
The is doing its annual Santa collection through the streets of Ickenham and North Hillingdon in December.
We are collecting on five different evenings: 9, 10, 12, 16, 17 December. Please book for as many evenings as you have availability.
Tuesday 17 December - Meeting point is Junction of Ryefield Avenue and Berkeley Road, North Hillingdon. The collection route finishes at junction of Grosvenor Crescent and Leybourne Road.
We will be raising money to support the following good causes:
- Michael Sobell Hospice (45%)
- Alzheimer's Society (45%)
- The Rotary Club of Elthorne-Hillingdon Charitable Trust Fund (10%) [supports a range of local, national and international humanitarian causes]
W e are looking for volunteer collectors to help us on each of the five evenings. The first two evenings will be in Ickenham and the final three evenings will be in North Hillingdon.
Always within sight/earshot of others, you will collect donations from local residents.
A reasonable level of fitness is needed because this involves up to three hours of walking or standing. Full guidance will be given, with an experienced route leader.
The Rotary Club welcomes visitors and prospective new members at our meetings in Eastcote, Sunday morning walks and all other activities.
