About this Event
Our Garden is all about learning, experimenting, and sharing. We think about how to grow food with techniques like companion planting and crop rotation, biodiversity in the city, irrigation, composting, ecological fertilizers, and the magic of insects. There is always lots to observe and lots to do!
Feel like getting some gardening experience? Want to meet others who are interested in gardening? Then join one of our open garden days, where we welcome people to join our gardening team for a day to learn and garden together.
No experience is necessary! All you need is the desire to learn, be outside, and connect with people that are into urban gardening.
The work we will do will depend on the day and the season but could include weeding, harvesting, composting, and more significant garden maintenance tasks.
What to bring
- Closed-toed work shoes (please no sandals or flip flops)
- Long pants and long sleeves are ideal clothes that can get dirty
- Water bottle
- Snack or lunch
We have a break at 12

Important notes
-The Kaskantine is still under construction, so we don't have an inside space that we can use yet!
-Because of this, please prepare for Dutch weather.
-Please be on time

If the weather does not permit outdoor working , we will need to postpone the meetup
