We are volunteering at the Houston Food Bank's warehouse to help communities in need.We are volunteering in a group of 10 at the Houston Food Bank’s Warehouse location on June 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We are going to inspect, sort, and/or repackage donated food to communities in need. If you would like to join us, please message us with your email address and we will provide you with the group registration link. EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL ADULT MEMBERS FIRST until Saturday, June 19 when adult non-members can sign up. You will not be able to volunteer unless you register with the link sent to participants. Limited spots available!
Time:
Saturday, June 26, 2021, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in, get instructions, and start on time! Late arrivals might not be able to join the group on volunteer assignments.

Parking:
If space permits it, you may park in the front parking lot, but in the event of a large volunteer turnout, you may have to use the overflow lot located behind the building.
Dress Code:
Face mask (required if without proof of being fully vaccinated – see notes below)
Closed-toe shoes
Casual dress
Long pants preferred
T-shirt with sleeves
Additional Notes from Houston Food Bank:
All people inside must be fully vaccinated or wear masks. Staff members not wearing masks have been verified to be fully vaccinated and have sticker on their badge ID’s as proof. Volunteers and visitors who show their COVID-19 vaccination card or photo of that card will not be required to wear masks, but everyone will have temperature checks.
Due to limited locker space, we ask that you lock your purse, jackets, backpacks, and any other valuables in your vehicle before checking-in.
Fully Vaccinated definitions: Per the CDC: For the purposes of this guidance, people are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 ≥2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or ≥2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen) as demonstrated by possession of a COVID vaccination card or a photo of that card; there is currently no post-vaccination time limit on fully vaccinated status.
