Come out and help us establish Beech Forest Grove, a community garden sanctuary in Swansfield Park.About this Event
We’ll be working together to remove invasive plants and prepare the site for long-term ecological health.
What we’ll be doing:
- Removing invasive plants
- Supporting early site establishment and restoration
What to bring:
- Cardboard (for sheet mulching, if you have it)
- Hand tools for invasive removal (gloves, pruners, hand trowels, etc.)
- Water and weather-appropriate clothing
This is a great opportunity to care for the land, learn hands-on restoration skills, and connect with community.
