Help us maintain the preserve's trails and common areas. Your help goes a long way towards allowing others to enjoy the natural wonders here! Most of our volunteer work will take place outdoors and require some level of manual labor. There is a possibility of encountering bugs, snakes, or other small animals while working outside. Depending on your skill level and the nature of the project at hand, you may be asked to use pruners, loppers, shovels, rakes, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, or other tools. Examples of possible projects include, but are not limited to: removing brush piles/debris from trails, widening trails, or trimming invasive vines from trees.
Ages 10 & up are welcome but those under 16 are not recommended. If you choose to bring a minor, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
All participants are to wear weather and outdoor appropriate clothing. Tools and safety equipment are available but additional lopping shears, pruning shears, and wheelbarrows/wagons are often useful.
Check-in is at Hoffler Creek's headquarters on the day of the event. Please be sure to sign in and out before and after volunteering.
Register below!! (if the registry is full you may still show up and sign in at the office)
