Are you looking for a way to make a meaningful impact in your community? Have you thought about tutoring but aren’t sure if it’s the right volunteer opportunity for you? Do you have questions about our program? Join us for a casual informational session to learn more about the Literacy Council and our volunteer opportunities. The Literacy Council trains, matches, and supports volunteers as they work one-on-one with adult learners who wish to improve their reading, writing, or speaking skills. No teaching experience is necessary; the only requirements are a high school diploma and a desire to help.
Attendees can choose from multiple sessions (either in Plymouth or Sheboygan)—the information shared will be the same at each meeting, so simply pick the date, time, and location that work best for you. During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and register for our next tutor training, scheduled for the end of January. Visit our website for full details.
Free; no need to register.
