Adaptive Cross-Country Skiing Volunteer Trainings at Weston Ski Track 🎿❄️Come learn how we make snow adventures accessible for people with disabilities. We'll cover cross-country skiing basics, kick-sleds, snowshoeing, and how our programs flow. As we gear up for 2026 winter programming, we'd love to welcome new volunteers into the Waypoint community!
We're heading back to Weston Ski Track, a cross-country ski and snowshoe center that makes fresh snow on-site, for TWO upcoming volunteer training options:
🗓️ Tues, 1/6 | 9:00am–2:30pm
🗓️ Sun, 1/11 | 4:00pm–6:00pm
Only able to join us for part of the training? That's okay. Just let us know after you sign up.
🙌 What will I be doing as a volunteer?
You'll help set the day up (and wrap it up), assist participants into gear, walk, ski, or snowshoe alongside them, push kick-sleds and sit-skis, play snow games, keep base camp running smoothly, and most importantly, build community!
🤔 Do I need to know how to cross-country ski?
Nope. We need volunteers for snowshoeing, pushing kick-sleds and sit-skis, and snow games too!
⛷️ Want to learn how to ski?
This is the perfect place to start. You can ski before or after programs to build skills.
