MARK YOUR CALENDARS for our last volunteer gathering of 2025!!!!We will be holding a Volunteer Sewing/Work Day on Sat. Nov. 15 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 412 South Main Street, Chippewa Falls! Thank you to Holy Ghost for opening their church to us again, & to Karin H for being our hostess!
We will meet in the basement of Holy Ghost, & there is an elevator on the northside of the building facing the Rectory. I'll try to post some signage outside so you can find everything easily. As usual we will meet from 9am-4pm. Come for the entire day or whatever part your schedule allows.
We will be working on everything associated with creating all our angel outfits from de-constructing, to laying out patterns & pinning, to cutting, to sewing, ironing, removing beading, hand sewing appliques, the list is long & vast. And all abilities are needed, whether you know how to sew or not!
If you do know how to sew, bring your sewing machine, power cords, sewing pins, & white thread if you have it, otherwise we have extra. If you don't know how to sew, that's great too! Just bring eager hands & a compassionate heart & you will fit right in! If you've ever thought about joining us, but haven't yet, we'd love to meet you & share what we do with you!
As always lunch is potluck, so feel free to bring a dish to share, but if time or budget doesn't allow you to contribute that's OK too, just bring your happy self & partake in the abundance of yummy food we always have! Please remember to bring your own beverages for the day.
VERY IMPORTANT: As usual, if you plan on joining us, please make sure to click on the "going" option on this Facebook event (or send me a private message) so I know how many volunteers to plan for. I need to make sure I bring enough work to keep everyone busy while they're there!
