About this Event
Volunteer with Grassroots Ecology and Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) in the heart of downtown Redwood City and support the restoration of an ecologically rich marsh-upland transition zone. During our time together, we will use hand tools and buckets to manage invasive weeds across uneven terrain. This urban section of Redwood Creek flows into the San Francisco Bay, so we will also use trash grabbers to reduce the amount of litter persisting in the waterway.
Visit Grassroots Ecology’s Redwood Creek webpage to learn more about the ecosystem and accessibility considerations.

POST works with private landowners and public agencies to connect people and nature. Visit openspacetrust.org for more information.
