Volunteer your time with Grassroots Ecology and Peninsula Open Space Trust to help increase biodiversity in Palo Alto!
About this Event

Volunteer with Grassroots Ecology and Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) to support the expansive oak woodlands and grasslands at Pearson-Arastradero Preserve. These ecosystems are home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, bobcats, coyotes, many species of birds and insects, and more! During our time together, volunteers will install native plants to support revegetation of wildlife habitat and then use buckets to water the plants.

Visit Grassroots Ecology’s Pearson-Arastradero Preserve webpage to learn more about the ecosystem and accessibility considerations.

POST protects open space on the Peninsula and in the South Bay for the benefit of all. As a private nonprofit land trust, POST has been responsible for saving more than 87,000 acres since 1977. POST works with private landowners and public agencies to connect people and nature. Visit openspacetrust.org for more information.
