About this Event
The Boys and Girls Club of Metro South has a goal of increasing food access in the area we serve. Our Mobile Markets are mobile food pantries where we serve 20-70 people at each distribution. With our refrigerated truck we are able to offer fresh produce, dry goods, bread, and hygiene products to different housing properties across Taunton and Brockton.
Volunteers can expect to assist with:
- Distributing produce, bread, canned foods, dry goods, and hygiene products to anywhere from 20-70 people
- Restocking the truck shelves
- Clean up
These are busy events that require group work.
Volunteers must be comfortable speaking with people.
Volunteers must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
We have a monthly distribution schedule at different housing properties across Taunton and Brockton.
