Join staff naturalists and volunteer guides as part of a city-wide team documenting biodiversity. Time will be spent teaching participants how to use the iNaturalist app on their cell phone to identify wildlife; no experience required. Participants can earn volunteer service hours for community organizations and Texas Master Naturalists. Ages 13+. Meet in the nature center at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. for a quick orientation. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and fully charged cell phone. The walk can be on paved trails with unpaved options. Length of walk varies on participants.
