Food Distribution Volunteer Opportunity
Bread of Life, Inc. invites you to join us in serving our community! Volunteers will assist with setup, registration, traffic control, and loading food and relief items into vehicles as they drive through.
Event Details:
Location: Bread of Life, Inc. (on the campus of St. John’s UMC Downtown)
Address: 2019 Crawford St., Houston, TX 77002
Distribution Site: Behind the church, underneath the Pierce Elevated
Time: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Partial shifts available)
Roles: Setup, registration, traffic control, and food loading
Physical Activity: This event involves physical labor, so please consider this when deciding if it’s right for you.
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (no sandals, Crocs, etc.).
Minors:
Minimum age: 7 years old
Ages 7-13 must have an adult accompany them
All minors under 18 must have a completed Minor Volunteer Waiver
Parking Information:
Volunteer Parking: Available in the parking lot across the street from the church on Gray St.
Metered Parking: Required Monday - Saturday until 6 PM (except on Jackson St., where parking is free).
