Come and volunteer at one of Perth's largest wildlife rehabilitation centres! If you love animals and the environment and have always wanted to learn how you can help Perth's precious native wildlife - we'd love to see you at our next Volunteer Information Session!
Our senior team conducts these sessions on the first Wednesday night of every month between 6:30pm - 8:00pm. They will talk you through all of the things we do at Kanyana and all of the many ways that you may be able to help.
Kanyana's volunteers work across many areas, including
• in the wildlife hospital
• with our resident animals
• educating the community
• maintaining our garden, grounds and heritage buildings
• assisting with training and events
• helping with cleaning, kitchen, laundry
• helping the fundraising, marketing and admin teams
Volunteering is particularly suited to veterinary, vet nurse or environmental science students, but our volunteers come from all walks of life and most people will find something to learn and contribute. You just need to love wildlife and the environment, enjoy learning and want to help us further our wildlife rehabilitation, education and conservation work!
Full training and mentoring is provided. Bookings are required for this session, but attendance is obligation and cost free.
