Are you interested in volunteering with Coquitlam RCMP?Thank you for your interest! We will be hosting a Volunteer Information Session to provide you with all of the details you need to decide if this is the right opportunity for you.
Some of the topics we will cover are: required time commitments, police clearance requirements and benefits.
We will be providing presentations on the many positions available including:
• Community Police Station Front Counter
• Bike Patrol
• Foot Patrol
• Cell Watch
• Citizens' Crime Watch
• Block Watch
• Speed Watch
• And more!
There will be a presentation followed by a question and answer period. Current Volunteers and Community policing staff members will be available to discuss their experiences and answer additional questions.
Volunteering is open to anybody 16 yrs of age and older. Applicants must have:
- PR or Canadian citizenship
- Lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years
- not been out of the country for more than a continuous 6 month period.
